2023 Hall of Shame

In celebration of the New Year coming (and my 50th post!!!) I’ve decided to look back at some of the mishaps learning opportunities that I’ve encountered in 2023.

Wait…wait…wait…. Done waiting!
The dog isn’t the only one who sometimes gets impatient
Sometimes marinades are a bit too flammable
My knife-proof glove was apparently not also oven-proof
It may take some trial and error to get the right cooking time
I would like to thank these oven mitts for their service…
Although I would have appreciated a bit more warning before they called it quits.

Despite the most careful of planning, not everything works out. Some days you just have to open the windows and let the smoke clear, pour yourself a big glass of wine and order pizza.

Remember to tip the delivery person!
